Throughout the project implementation measures were taken to ensure the quality of surface and ground water in the area of the construction site were monitored and protected, vibration during construction was monitored, assessed and controlled, and all areas affected by the construction works were restored.
The consultant for this project was Eagis-ETP-ICG DZZD.
During the opening ceremony the SET Consortium’s representative, Mr. Boyko Penchev, commented: “This project contributes towards the fulfilment of Bulgaria’s commitments to upgrading its railway infrastructure to EU Standards in compliance with the EU’s policy and the sustainable development of the railway infrastructure.
